What an end to the day.
Driving along the friarton bridge, keeping myself to myself when all of a sudden I'm confronted with a suicidal cone! I think it had been drinking as he had toppled over, then at the last gasp thought it would be funny to roll into my path Had the choice, take out the kerb followed by the barrier or kill the cone. Cone it was, but he still managed to leave his trademark on my door However, the driver behind obviously didn't like what he seen, so he made doubly sure this cone wouldn't do anymore damage again!

Thanks to all at the meetfor your input,Good to meet Blaine in person . Lucky escape Dundee, afriend of mine done the same thing just a couple of weeks ago,Hit a cone in the road, skid, lost control, flipped and rolled the car with wife and kids inside,Child seats saved the day all walked away just a sprained wrist for the driver! So a dent in the door is a good result!

Your mate was lucky.
I had to attempt to to keep my car in one piece as got 2 tests this week and one the following week!
On my way there yesterday, a civic had clipped a cone and was sitting at the side of the road with parts hanging from the front wing The road isn't wide enough, the lorries are 'clipping' the cones. Short of them closing the bridge and diverting traffic through Perth not much can be done.
Its daylight now, I'll see the damage better now
Where are all the members that said they would be there???? You better have some good excusses To think Blaine paid for everything as well
Cya all at the next meet, maybe, hopefully. City of Discovery will be the next stop

Aaawww Dundee, hope the car will be ok ........ oh yeah and that your ok . What a near miss for John's friend and his family, them cones is vicious, i say they should be banned, constantly hanging around our street, jumping out on unsuspecting mototists ............................. .
Anyways, thanks to you Dundee for another encouraging meeting and to Blaine for his Special Guest appearance, and as Mags says all those who bothered to turn up, well at least we got somthing out of it
Dundee!!!!! What you doing? You might set 'a certain someone we know' off with them pencils and there's more than enough to go around, she'll not miss anybody
Thanks again to all for yesterday.
Cones new strategy, they're turing on people .......................

I should really report this cone as he never had his hi-viz vest on!
What a strange day again. I'm over the cone incident and not that bothered about it, so I Set off to see Blaine. I drive 'properly' as always due to roofbox on (so I thought) I arrive at the meeting place, get out and speak to Blaine. We wander over to my car to discover my roof box missing! But, I couldn't remember if it was on when I got home yesterday, or if it was on when I set off this morning. (yes I know its quite big, and I should've noticed, but, hey. I was cone damage hunting!) So once over the shock of the thought of some poor soul with no windscreen in their car I tried to put it out my mind.
As I drive home I'm wondering where the thing is, arrive home and wander up my stairs to the flat only to be greeted by my roofbox!!! There is a little bit of the corner broken, but that's it He had obviously forgot his key and was waiting patiently to get in.
Looks like someone must've removed him during the night, or, after the shock of the cone incident he decided to jump off and walk home
So I'm happy again.
Not a clue what that has to do with the meeting right enough, but I don't care as no one rreads this thread.
